The Grasshopper Clock, 1 of the few landmarks I didn’t see last year…
…that’s because it wasn’t around until September 2008! Yes, picture behind myself and my oldest brother is the Grasshopper Clock. Made from gold and housing a strange grasshopper at the top, this massive structure can actually somehow tell the time. The outer ring tells seconds followed by minutes and the innermost the hour it is.
Strangely enough the clock is the most accurate time keeping structure around supposidly but only in certain parts of the day? Only in Cambridge…
