Finally managed to watch this film a few years after it’s cinema and DVD release…
This was a film that I had always wanted to watch in the cinema a few years back. Sadly, it came out at the same time as 300 and so everyone was jizzling on that (may I add I have YET to see 300 and I don’t think I ever will) rather than this.
This film is the clever tale of 2 Magicians that begin as simple extras and support characters for an act but gradually become 2 established Magicians on their own. From friends they eventually become arch rivals and form a bitter battle to see who is the better but their bitter rivalry soon turns to obsession…
A film that is full of twists and turns and quick frankly is rather brilliant. A must watch!
