Decided to brave the weather today and go to Blackpool Pleasure beach…
Has it already been 2 years? How time flies by. Decided to return to Blackpool today as it has been quite while since I last rode on a Rollercoster. I needed to experience that kind of thrill that a year of drilling and studying in Dental School hasn’t quite provided.
The weather man didn’t really predict a good day happening either. Before I booked the tickets they said it was going to be sunny but then he changed last minute and said it was going to rain like mad. In the end, it didn’t rain at all (silly weatherman – DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY!!)

Winning the Grand National
Since we are technically still in term time, not that many people were around which of course was a good thing for us as meant small queues and waiting times. We managed to ride pretty much everything within the day and even managed to get a few pictures with the cool statues and cheap knock off of Disney’s Chip and Dale characters…

Here's us going to the moon!

Me with the Chip and Dale knock off
Didn’t get that many ride photo’s this time however. Some rides had really poor camera capturing technology: some cameras were either too late at snapping whilst others were just down in general, I guess it’s just a cost saving measure since they get less visitors maybe? Still managed to get one picture and a self taken ride photo!

Note: This is not Vahalla but some kiddy Log Flume.
Special credits has to go to the their Log Flume ride Vahalla once again. After 2 years it is still better than any other Flume in the UK (not Florida however). I once again got soaked to the bone and it being rather cold weather, the after effects were not so welcome this time around!

The signs on the entrance
Overall a fun day had by all. Course the train journey in wet jeans wasn’t that fun but defo worth it. Need to get a nice long bath and wash away all that dirty dirty water before I die…..!

Sleepy head Cindy
Looks like you had a great day. Please try not to knock BPB to hard many hundreds of thousands visitors a year go to the park and it is one of the best attended attractions in Europe!!
Maybe next time you some you will decide to stop over and see what else Blackpool has to offer?
